Rules & Regulations for the Dublin Flower Festival 2010


Competitors can supply their own plant material if they wish (Please note that competitors will not be reimbursed for the purchase of their own plant material).

The organisers will order plant materials for the competitors and it will be available at the allotted competition area on the 19/20th of October. This plant material will be supplied at no extra cost to the competitors.

Competitors must supply their own props and accessories.
Site will be allocated depending on the category entered.
Each space will be covered in black background material.

Each competitor will receive a pair of tickets for the opening of the festival which will take place at 7.30pm on the 21st October.
All prizes will be awarded at this ceremony.
 
The use of aerosol spray is prohibited within  the building.
The use of electric glue guns is not permitted in competitors’ area on staging days.
 
It is the competitor’s responsibility to keep the staging area neat and tidy during staging times setup.
 
No naked lights to be used in hall during setup time, or while festival is open to public.
 
Competitors are responsible for leaving rubbish in tied plastic sacks/wheelie bins, Cardboard is to be kept separate for recycling.
 
All enquiries re setup and staging to be referred, to the competition secretary.
 
All arrangements to be kept within the staging area provided but there are no height restrictions.
 
All competitors must have exited staging area by 2.45pm on the judging day as judging will start sharp at 3pm and no one will be allowed access to hall again until 7pm on the day.
